Matsumoto Iyo

Matsumoto Iyo (松本伊代) is a Japanese pop idol singer, actress, talento, and member of the unit Cutie★Mommy. Matsumoto was discovered by a Bond Kikaku scout and first made her debut in show business as an actress in the TBS dorama Tanokin Zenryokutoukyou. Later that year, she also made her debut as a singer with the release of her first single, "Sentimental Journey". She went on to win the Rookie of the Year Award in 1982 for the Nihon Record Taishou.

In 1993, she married B2 Special's cohost Hiromi. Twelve years later, she formed the unit Cutie★Mommy with Hayami Yu and Hori Chiemi.
