Information

"Suisei" is a song recorded by DAOKO. It heavily samples the song "Blow Ya Mind ~America Daisuki" by KOJI1200.; which was written by KOJI IMADA and TOWA TEI, and was composed by TOWA TEI. It appears on her fourth studio album and her first major label album DAOKO.

The song was originally released by producer tofubeats featuring rapper Onomatope Daijin in 2012. The chorus is same as the one that DAOKO uses in her song, but she wrote her own verses for her version.

A music video was filmed for the song where she is shown in a city and typing lyrics on her computer. The lyrics of the song are also shown on various electronic forms scrolling across the screen. On Twitter, Daoko stated that while it seems like it might have been done with computer graphics, it's actually all real.

In 2017, DAOKO collaborated with band Ziyoou-vachi on the song "Kinsei", which appeared on their Q album as track #2. It was reported as an answer song to "Suisei".
