Information
Tsuda co-founded the band MAXIMUM THE HORMONE with fellow bandmate and drummer Kawakita Nao in 1998. He is one of the two members remaining from the original lineup, the second being Nao. Tsuda was formerly the lyricist and central vocalist for the band, writing most of his lyrics primarily in English. This changed when now guitarist Kawakita Ryo joined the band, taking greater responsibility with song composition. Tsuda now splits the role with Ryo, taking over the rapping and screaming vocals, while Ryo does the more melodic parts
Tsuda credits Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo as being one of the main inspirations behind his vocal style.
He is also good friends with comedians Totarutenbosu and Dainoji.
Tsuda normally wears glasses, however does not wear them during PVs or live performances.
Tsuda helped host MAXIMUM THE HORMONE's weekly radio show on bayfm78 Japan with fellow co-founder Kawakita Nao until its finish on March 26, 2009.
On October 27, 2008, it was announced that Tsuda would require throat surgery due to the development of vocal fold cysts, and the band would have to go on temporary hiatus beginning December 2008, and would continue until his full recovery and rehabilitation. The hiatus would prove to last three months, delaying the completion of the "Tsume Tsume Tsume" tour until the band's return in Osaka on March 8, 2009.
