Shiina Megumi (椎名恵) is a Japanese singer-songwriter.

Information

Shiina Megumi got her start by entering the 22nd Annual Yamaha Popular Song Contest in 1981 under the name "Oikawa Chisa". She won the Kawakami Prize for the song "Suki yo Anata". However, she didn't debut as a singer until 1986 with the single "Konya wa ANGEL" under the label TDK Records. In 1993, she changed labels to Toshiba EMI and then to Wonder Entertainment in 1996.

In 2000, she joined the unit Voice of DREAM 2000 with Kohiruimaki Kahoru and Shono Mayo. She also released the single "Hatsukoi to Aozora toy box ~classical~" under her former label TDK Records. But, in 2005, she changed labels to DOYO Records to release the single "Sora Iro no Door / Tasogare no Bigin".
