A MIL-CDs is a form of compact disc that was released in 1999 by Sega. MIL-CDs contained music, photos, and video clips that was only accessible on the video game system Sega Dreamcast. MIL-CDs also contained various material that could be accessible via internet on the Sega Dreamcast. MIL-CDs was an easy source for piracy as one could copy material from a MIL-CD easily. This format was discountinued by 2001 when Sega decided to retire the Dreamcast video system.
