Information
Ida Megumi's childhood was surrounded by music. She began to play piano when she was in elementary school and started to sing during her highschool time. After her college graduation, Ida worked for a record store. Her voice finally impressed famous game music composer Uematsu Nobuo, she was chosen from 800 applicants to perform the theme song for the NDS remake version of Final Fantasy IV. In December 2007, Ida Megumi made her major debut with the single Tsuki no Akari, produced by Uematsu. The song is delivered from the popular soundtrack piece Ai no Theme (愛のテーマ; Theme of Love) of Final Fantasy IV.
