the light of other days is the fourth mini-album recorded by DAOKO. She completely self-produced the album, and it was released under her own independent label called teftef. The jacket artwork was done by an artist that DAOKO referred to as her best friend, named Yumeno. The album was released completely by surprise with basically no promotion, since it was announced only a few hours before it was available. On the same day it was made available, the music video for "fighting pose" was also uploaded to YouTube.
