Information

Aimoto Kumiko got her start in the idol world when she was scouted at a Makiha Yumi autograph session in 1974. A year later, she debut as a singer with the single "Chisa na Teikou". She also started to do many things including acting, modeling in magazine, and appear in television variety shows including becoming a mascot from 1976 to 1981 for the show TV Jokki.

In 1980, she changed record companies from CBS Records to Toshiba EMI. She later got married in 1987 and had one child soon after. But, she later divorced her husband in 1993 due to wanted to work in her career but took a break from show business to raise her kid. She later returned in 1999, making her comeback as an actress and talento.
