The three original members were previously members of other idol groups, Konno Yuuka and Tsujimura Airi from B Flat and Party Rockets and Misaki from pramo. Aither have released three indie CDs to date. In June 2014 Aither will perform at Idol Matsuri, a convention in the Untied States, which will be the first time an indie idol group has performed in this country. On April 26, 2014 Megumi and Sakura joined Aither and the group is now referred to as Aither-Five, although their third CD still credits them as simply Aither.
