Aither is a Japanese pop idol group with the Deja Vu agency that formed in June 2013. The three original members were previously members of other idol groups, Konno Yuuka and Tsujimura Airi from B Flat and Party Rockets and Misaki from pramo. Aither have released three indie CDs to date. On April 26, 2014 Megumi, formerly of the Step One duo Rena-Megu, and Sakura joined Aither and the group is now referred to as Aither-Five, although their third CD still credits them as simply Aither. During June 2014 Aither performed at Idol Matsuri, a convention in Silverdale, Washington, United States. This is the fastest debut to overseas performance in Japanese idol group history. On July 2, 2014 it was announced that Megumi was leaving after her performance this day, and Sakura would be leaving on July 5. Yuuka announced on October 9, 2014 that she was leaving Aither due to problems with Aither's management. Aither continued as a duo until their announcement on November 27, 2014 that the group would be disbanding on December 29.
