Akata Miharu (安宅美春) is a guitarist and former member of the band KIX-S.

Information

Akata Miharu debuted as a solo guitarist in 1990 with the single "Kodoku no RUNAWAY", which was written and later performed as a self-cover by B'z. A year later, she formed the duo KIX-S with Hamaguchi Tsukasa. becoming the chorus, the guitarist, and the composer of the duo. The duo took a hiatus in 1998 and eventually broke up in 2004.

At the start of the millennium, Akata would start to start up small musical projects. In 2000, she formed the techno duo Band-i-amir with Fujiu Yukari and released only one album before splitting. Two years later, she formed the band o-gear with Akata as the guitarist.

She also opened a music school named Idoufurimiero in 2004.
