Information

"Amaenbo" is Otsuka Ai's third single. It was released on March 3rd, 2004 by the avex trax label and included a rock version of "Sakuranbo", Otsuka's first hit single. The title track was used as main theme for the "Stona Rhini S" CM. This single was available as a CD or CD+DVD edition. The CD only edition came with a photo book illustrated by Ai (limited to the first 20,000 copies). The CD+DVD edition (with a different cover) came with a DVD containing the "Amaenbo" PV. The single reached #6 on Oricon charts and charted for 21 weeks. It sold 32,591 units in its first week and the most recent figures show that it sold a total of 105,609 units, and was certified Gold for the shipment of 100,000 copies.
