Information

Ann Lewis was born in 1956 to a American father who was in the Air Force and a Japanese mother. She debuted as a singer years later in 1971 with the single Shiroi Shuumatsu. At first, she was a gravure idol singer. But that quickly went away as she gained hits like Goodbye My Love in 1974.

In 1980, she married rock singer Kuwana Masahiro for four years. She would take a break from singing to take care her first born son, Myuuji, that was born in 1981. But a year later, she would return to show business with the Yamaguchi Momoe penned hit, La Season. She would also gain the hit single Roppongi Shinjuku two ywars later in 1984 after her divorce from her husband. Since it's release, Roppongi Shinjuku has become a popular song to performance and many other artist release covers of the song.

Ann Lewis would later scale back her music career when she was diagnosed with panic disorder in 1995. But ten years later, she would come back yet again and appear on commercials and television shows.
