Annabel (アナベル) is a Japanese pop singer-songwriter under Lantis. She mostly sings themes for anime or games.

Information

Annabel's music career began in 2005, later in 2006 she formed together with yanaginagi the "vocal unit" binaria. As Annabel is responsible for the duo's lyrics in addition to vocals, most of their releases titles are in Spanish, her mother tongue.

In 2007 she collaborated with composer bermei.inazawa and formed another duo called anNina, they released two singles and one mini-album. The two singles became popular for being the ending theme songs for the second and third season of the anime Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.

In 2009 she started her solo career produced by composer myu (who is member of the duo kukui) by releasing her major debut single "My heaven". Her popularity rose with the release of the singles "above your hand" and "Signal Graph". In November 2012 she released her first studio album, miniascape, including all her solo singles released so far.

In January 2013, she released her next single along with Ceui for the anime Hanayaka Nari, Waga Ichizoku; while Annabel provides the opening theme song, titled "Phantasmagoria", Ceui provides the ending theme song, "Shall We Dance".
