Asanuma Takuya joined JUDY AND MARY back in 1993 not long before they were signed by the major label Sony Music Entertainment. While in JUDY AND MARY, TAKUYA rose to fame. Here he wrote the vast majority of the music and lyrics. He often co-wrote lyrics with YUKI under the nicknames Takky and Yukky. The band split in 2001 after their WARP album tour.
