"BACK BLOCKS" is the tenth single released by MISIA. The title track was meant to be included on her fourth album, as MISIA wanted this to happen, it was then released in it's own single and then included on the reissue of KISS IN THE SKY. The single came with a CD-Extra with the music video for the title track. "Tobikata wo Wasureta Chiisana Tori (STAR OCEAN version)" was used as the game Star Ocean 3 ending theme.
The single reached #7 on the Oricon charts, and charted for nine weeks.
