Information

"BOY" is a song recorded by daoko. It first appeared on her sophomore studio album GRAVITY as track #2. There were several music videos created for the song as well.

Music Video

A scene from the music video

The music video for "BOY" was directed by Paranel. It mainly shows a young man walking around the city, but daoko also makes several appearances, shown from a perspective where she is not easily identifiable (for example, extreme closeups of her face).

A remastered version of the video was released in 2017 to be used with the remastered re-release of her GRAVITY album. This video used the remastered audio and featured a different man walking around the city. The remastered video also didn't include any shots of daoko.

There was a second PV filmed for the re-arranged version of the song, included with the limited edition DVD that came with DAOKO's second major label album, "THANK YOU BLUE". It was directed by Saeki Yuichiro. The video features DAOKO in a school's art classroom and walking down a city street.
