"CAN YOU CELEBRATE?" is Amuro Namie's seventh single. The title track was used as the theme song for the dorama Virgin Road and the Maxell MD CM song. This single reached #1 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for 40 weeks. It sold 2,296,200 copies, becoming the #1 single of 1997. This is listed as being Amuro's best-selling single. This single is currently listed as being the #14 best-selling single of all time in Japan.

"CAN YOU CELEBRATE?" was re-released in December 1997 as a maxi single to commemorate Amuro's wedding. It reached #1 on the weekly charts and charted for eight weeks. It sold 454,020 copies, becoming the #54 single of 1998.
