Caramel ☆ Ribbon (キャラメル ☆ リボン) are a Kansai-based idol trio formed in January 2009 by ESSE Academy. Caramel ☆ Ribbon released their first indie single titled “Niji Iro” on August 11, 2010, which can only be bought at venues where Caramel ☆ Ribbon perform in Japan or on iTunes. Caramel ☆ Ribbon released their second indie single, “Koi no music”, in 2012. Their third single, “Yakusoku no Basho”, is their first single available outside of Japanese concert venues. Caramel ☆ Ribbon signed with T-Palette Records (a division of Tower Records) in June 2013. Their first single with this label is “Start Ribbon”. Caramel ☆ Ribbon also appeared in the horror movie 讐 ~ADA~, released on July 13, 2013.
