Chocolat is a Japanese musician.

Profile

Information

Chocolat began singing at the age of 18 and in 1998 released her first single, Chocolat ala Mode. She married her husband in Maui the same year, which Chocolat also says is now her favorite place.

In 2001 she switched from record companies and released Roller Girl. Her third album Henry also was released. In 2005 she made a collaboration unit with husband Katayose Akito called Chocolat & Akito; they have since released two albums.

Trivia

  • Chocolat has a younger twin sister.
  • She got the nickname "Chocolat" during high school in 1994.
