Cyndi won the [[avex trax]]'s Taiwan contest sometime between late 2002 and early 2003. She was then brought to Japan where she was taught to sing and dance at [[avex trax]] studios. She was launched with her debut album "[[Begin (Cyndi Wang)|Begin...]]" in February of 2003. She's also an actress, starring in 4 Dramas, the latest of which is "Smiling Pasta".
