D-51 is a Japanese pop band under the Tokuma Japan Communications label.

Information

D-51 is a band formed by YU and YASU, both from the Okinawa prefecture. They had an indie release before signing up to Pony Canyon, making their debut with the single "TOP OF THE SUMMER". They had their first big hit with their third major single "NO MORE CRY", which was used as theme song for the second season of the dorama Gokusen.

In 2012, they switched labels to Tokuma Japan Communications.
