Furukawa Miki (フルカワミキ) is a Japanese rock singer-songwriter currently signed to Ki/oon Records. Furukawa made her debut in the mid-1990s as the bassist and backing vocals for the band SUPERCAR. After the band disbanded in 2005, Furukawa embarked onto a solo career and signed with BMG Japan.

Information

Furukawa joined the band SUPERCAR in 1995 after seeing a poster for band try-outs in Aomori Prefecture. They made their major debut in 1997 with the single "Cream Soda". After their disbanding in February 2005 Furukawa began to participate in the work of other musicians. She has also worked on the art for many commercials and even done some fashion modelling for magazines.

Furukawa made her solo debut in June 2006 with the single "Coffee & SingingGirl!!!". She released her solo debut album Mirrors less than a month later.

For December 2nd, 2009, Furukawa Miki announced the release a new solo single, "Saihate". It's her first release since switching record labels from BMG Japan to Ki/oon Records. Her last release under BMG Japan was the album Bondage Heart, released in August 2008.

In 2010, she released her third album titled Very.
