Born Lee Kyung-yeop, Harisu is the first transgender to debut in the Korean music industry, and perhaps, even the world. Harisu first started appearing in public doing commercials for a cosmetics company. To date, Harisu released 5 albums and plans on advancing into the foreign entertainment market.

On May 19, 2007, she married Micky Jung (미키정).
