Biography

Horie says her first inspiration to be a voice actress was as a child watching the anime series Dirty Pair. She debuted in with the video game Voice Fantasia in 1997. She didn't attract much attention at the beginning of her career and only had a few minor roles in anime series and video games. Eventually she got a few leading roles in some animes that weren't very popular. In 2000 Yui landed a major role in Love Hina as Narusegawa Naru. She began to release albums and singles, becoming one of the more popular seiyuus in the anime industry. Her most known roles in animes as seiyuu are Narusegawa Naru, Tsukimiya Ayu, Multi and Honda Tooru.
