Information

Imperfection is the seventh studio album released by May J. It was released in three versions: a CD+Blu-ray edition, a CD+2DVDs edition and CD-only edition. The CD+Blu-ray edition includes a photobook with 36 pages of photos and the CD+2DVDs Edition includes a photobook with 20 pages of photos. It was originally scheduled to be released on October 1, but was postponed until October 8.

The songs "Hontou no Koi" was used as an insert song for the TBS drama "Dousousei ~Hito wa, Sando, Koi wo Suru~", "Kokoro no Kagi" was used as the ending theme for the anime "Fairy Tail", "Sunshine Baby!" was used as the CM song for Yamazaki "Lunch Pack", "Clap!" was used as the CM song for "Motomachi Charming Sell", "HAPPY DAY" was used as insert song for TV Asahi program "musicるTV", "Chikai no Kiss" was used as an insert song for the UULA drama "Kimiyouna Koi no Monogatari", "Lovin' you" was used as the CM song for "Tokyo Interior", "Mama found…"Forever"" was used as theme song for TV Asahi program "Portal ANN News & Sports", "Mirai e" was used as the CM song for "Proactiv", "Tsukanoma no Niji Demo" was used as insert song for TV Asahi program "musicるTV" and "Let It Go [Gekichuuka / English Song]" is a English version of her song "Let It Go ~Ari no Mama de~" that was used in the Japanese version of the movie Frozen.

The same day that her single "Hontou no Koi" was released on iTunes the album was released to reserve too, being able to buy the songs "Hontou no Koi", "Kokoro no Kagi", "Sunshine Baby!", "Tsukanoma no Niji Demo", "Let It Go [Gekichuuka / English Song]", previously released, and a new song: "Clap!".
