Kanade is a Japanese urban pop artist. She started performing in 2000, and she started touring with big hip-hop acts in 2003. She didn't make her offical debut until 2007 when she released the single, "Ring The Alarm". She is signed under the Universal Music record label.

Kanade started her musical ativies in 2000, sing live throughout clubs in the Kansai area.

In 2003 she started touring with and opening for hip-hop acts such as HI-D, BENNIE K, and nobodyknows+. Later that year she was one of the selected artists to perform at NIVEA's "Girls Night Club Tour". She then started selling demo tape, "1page" exclusivly at live shows and supporting shops. Within three days she had sold over a thousand copies.

In 2005 Kanade heavly circled the on-line radio circuit and became a regular performing on shows. She then became a regular gest on Okayama DJ $HIN's radio program. Later that year she opened for the Japan leg of Ashanti's tour.
