Karasu wa Masshiro (カラスは真っ白) or A crow is white is a Japanese indie funk-pop band. The band formed in May 2010 in Sapporo by Kana Yaginuma (vocal/guitar), Kōhei Shimizu (guitar/MC), Jun "Groovy" Yoshiyama (bass) and Taihei (drums).

They released their self-produced debut demo EP titled Hato Poppo (はとぽっぽ) on November 11, 2010, which followed by a single ("High-speed Muteppō", ハイスピード無鉄砲) and a full lenght album (Karasu wa Masshiro, カラスは真っ白) in 2011 and 2012, respectively.

In 2012 they signed to SPACE SHOWER NETWORKS, where they released their first (officialy numbered) EP Spectacle Gokko (すぺくたくるごっこ).

In 2013 they inked a record deal with CULTIVATE INC. Their first full lenght album Kaijyu Bakuhatsu Gokko (かいじゅうばくはつごっこ) released on June 5, 2013 by CULTIVATE INC./SPACE SHOWER NETWORKS. Their second EP titled Onsoku Merry-go-round (おんそくメリーゴーランド) was released on June 4, 2014.
