Kato Izumi (2006)

Kato Izumi (加藤いづみ) is a Japanese pop singer. Kato debuted in 1991 with the Takahashi Ken produced album Tegujyuperi. She then released her first single, ZERO, a month later but didn't get popular until the single Suki ni Natte, Yokatta. She would be one of the many female artists that would lead the generation of Girl Pop in the 90s. But in 2001, Kato would move to an independent label to continue to release new music.
