Kim Jo Han rose to fame in the early to mid 90's as the lead singer to the K-R&B group Solid. Solid was a part of the forefront in the formation of what is now popular Korean music.

Since Solid disbandment in 1996, Kim Jo Han has gone unto producing, writing for other musicians, and serving as an A&R. He had a part in the formation of the K-R&B group Voice although they had little success.

Kim Jo Han has managed to remain very active in the Korean music industry behind the scenes and by participating in many other artists' albums. He also returned as a solo artist, releasing various albums since 1998. He also co-headlined a concert along with the duo Fly to the Sky which later produced a live concert album.
