History

Linda III Sei, also known as Linda Sansei or Linda 3 Sei, was formed in 2013 featuring third-generation Brazilian-Japanese members from Gunma, Japan. The group's name was created using a combination of languages, with "Linda" meaning a feminine "beautiful" in Portuguese and "III Sei" referencing their third generation descent in Japan. The sound for the group was described as B-pop with some baile funk and EDM influence, and the group's dance style incorporated elements of Brazilian dances, most notably the samba. The group opened auditions for a second generation of members in late 2013.

In October 2014 a video was uploaded to YouTube introducing four new cadet trainees; Emiko, Yukaren, Larissa, and Alissa, that would practice alongside the group with the possibility of joining later. On November 30, 2014, Naomi announced that she would graduate from the group. Her last performance took place on December 14, 2014.

On May 5, 2015 it was was announced that Yukaren was made a full second generation member of the group. The following year on April 9, 2016 the disbandment of the group was announced, due to the members deciding to give priority to their studies.
