"MAD" is a song by Daoko in collaboration with DJ Igarashi Yohji. It's the first track on their collaborative album, MAD EP. It received a music video on the same day that the EP was released.
Music Video
The music video was released on the same day that the EP became available digitally. It depicts Daoko and several other extras dancing at a party DJ'd by Igarashi Yohji. Outside, an older man (played by Mekdachi Kahlil) finds an invitation to the party and goes to check it out. He's shy at first, but eventually joins in and dances with the other partygoers. The party shots are interspersed with Daoko and Mekdachi sitting in a photo studio, and black screens with just images of Daoko's mouth.
The video was directed by Nasty Men$ah, and Michishita Tatsuya and Nina Florence were production assistants. Inoue Kosuke was the production manager. Hair and makeup were handled by Daoko's frequent collaborator Kuji Megumi from luckhair, and costumes for the video were done with cooperation from the used clothing shop Fukamidori.
