MAXIMUM GROOVE is the third original album released by MAX. First pressing of the album came with a pendent. The album reached #1 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for twelve week, selling 824,370 copies. It also reached #26 on the yearly Oricon chart for 1999. The album was certified million by the Recording Industry Association of Japan. It also won the award Record of the Year and the 13th Annual Japan Golden Discs Awards.
