Nega (ネガ) is a four member Japanese rock band in the visual-kei scene. The group formed in December 2004 as a duo made up of bassist Ray and vocalist Jin, though they didn't start activities until 2005. Since December of 2006 Nega has been signed with the indies label UNDER CODE PRODUCTION in Osaka.

At the band's fifth anniversary live on July 26th, 2010 it was announced that Nega would be going on hiatus after September 30th. SAN's blog post regarding the decision suggests that they won't disband and just need time to prepare for the future. The members have since came back as a new band, PERESTROÏKA.
