NOISE (ノイズ; previously Dynamite) was band started in 1977 by Yoshiki Hayashi and his childhood friend, Deyama Toshimitsu. Their music was too angry and aggressive for any major record label to risk signing them. When the band was finally signed by Yoshiki's own Extasy Records in 1982, the name of the band was changed to X, and that moment was the beginning of the legacy of X JAPAN.
