Information

In 1983, Onishi Yuka got a break in show business right before her middle school graduation when a talent scout scouted her. She debuted first a year later as an actress in the television dorama Kazoku no Bansan with the catchphrase "Wonderful Chick Young Lady" (Fushigi Chikku Shoujo). She got awards for her acting, including the Rookie of the Year award at the Yokohama Film Festival for the movie Taifuu Club. She also started a singing career in 1985 with the debut of her first single, "Arabesque Romanesque", in February that year.

She got popularity when she got the role of Kazama Yuka, the older sister of Asaka Yui's sister, in the television dorama Sukeban Deka. She also joined the group Kazama San Shimai with Asaka and Nakamura Yuma, where they released one single, "Remember" and then broke up after the Sukeban Deka series ended.

In 1999, she released her first nude photobook, Toono Fuyu, but it didn't fare well among the public and the publisher went out of business soon after.
