"Promised Love" is the 35th single released by THE ALFEE. It was released as an 8cm CD and a cassette tape. The title track was used as the theme song for the drama Pole Position! Aishiki Hito e.... The single reached #2 on the Oricon weekly chart and charted for seventeen weeks, selling 657,120 copies. It was the #22 best-selling single of 1992, and it is the band's best-selling single.
An English eurobeat cover of the same name was sung by DOMINO on the album the ALFEE MEETS dance.
