"Rain" is the sixth major and 16th overall single released by SID. This was released in three different versions: two limited CD+DVD editions (A & B) and a regular CD only edition. Each limited edition comes with a DVD of one version of their men only live at Shinjuku LOFT on March 4th, 2010 at the start of their tour Ichiban Suki na Basho 2010. The limited editions also contains one of two FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST another jacket postcards. Includes a live version of their fifth single "chapter 1". The first pressings of the regular edition grants a FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST 32-page opening storyboard and a wide cap sticker. The titular song was used as the theme songs for: the anime FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST (opening), the TV program Bebop! High Heel (ending), the TV program a-ha-N (ending), and also as a commercial theme song for MUSICO. The single reached #2 on the Oricon weekly charts, where it charted for 12 weeks and sold 80,130 copies. The title track has been certified Gold by the RIAJ for full-song cellphone downloads of over 100,000.
