Sato Sumire (佐藤すみれ) is a Japanese pop singer and Idol managed by Horipro. She is currently a member of SKE48 Team E, and was previously a full-time member of AKB48.

Trivia

  • Originally a seventh generation member of AKB48 Kenkyuusei, she was promoted to Team B on May 21, 2010, then transferred to Team A during the AKB48 team shuffle in 2012. During the AKB48 Group Grand Shuffle in 2014, she was transferred to SKE48 Team E and became a full-time member.
  • She was a finalist for the Morning Musume Happy 8ki Audition in 2006.
  • Her nickname "Suumelo" comes from her liking the Sanrio character My Melody, who is nicknamed "Mymelo".
  • Has a younger sister by nine years.
  • Doesn't like being called Sato-san.
  • She is good friends with Matsui Jurina.
  • Likes reading books.
