"Silent Scream" is the eleventh single released by GIRL NEXT DOOR. It was released in two versions: a CD+DVD edition that came with a slipcase, and a CD-only edition. The title track was used as the opening theme for NTV's Happy Music for February 2010, as well as the ending theme for Yoasobi Mishimai for February through March 2010.
The single was originally planned to be released as "Twitter ~silent scream~" on March 3rd, but it was pushed back to March 16th. The release date was delayed again to March 30th, and the title was changed to "Silent Scream". For a third time, it was postponed until April 13th due to the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami.
