Sunday is a singer who has released two solo singles in Japan and is part of the 4-member group 天上智喜 (천상지희 or Chun Sang Ji Hee in Korea and Tenjo Chiki in Japan).

In 2001, she auditioned for SM Entertainment in the 1st SM Entertainment Best Youth Contest, singing Whitney Houston's "Greatest Love of All." She won the award for the singer's category.

She appeared in Fly to the Sky's "Maybe God Knows" music video later that year. She began living in Japan in 2002 and training for her debut.

After a period of no activity, her first recorded track was on SMTOWN's 2004 Summer Vacation in SMTOWN.com album. Under her new stage name of Sunday, she recorded the song 바램(Fight To The End) with soloist DANA, Jiyeon of Isak N Jiyeon, and Stephanie, a newcomer. These four would later become the group Chun Sang Ji Hee (천상지희).

On July 28th, 2004, Sunday released her first single in Japan, "Lira no Kataomoi." Her second single, "USOTSUKI BOY," was produced by m-flo and released on April 20, 2005. In that same month, the group Chun Sang Ji Hee debuted in Korea with the single "Too Good." The group released their first single, "Boomerang" in Japan on January 25, 2006.

It is unknown whether or not Sunday will release any more songs as a soloist.
