• Originally a founding member of AKB48 and Team A, she was appointed as Team A's captain in 2009, made effective in 2010. During the AKB48 team shuffle in August 2012, Shinoda Mariko was appointed as captain and Takahashi was appointed as the general manager (総監督; soukantoku) of the 48 Groups.
• She is close with Minegishi Minami, Kojima Haruna and Maeda Atsuko.
