Tape

<Cassette tapes are a form of magnetic storage that was most popular in the early 1990s, due largely to Sony's Walkman tape player. These are usually of low quality, however are useful for home recorders (especially among those who tape live shows) because of their economic price. The market share for the cassette has dropped, however, with the advent of relatively cheap compact discs and compact disc recorders.
