Tensou Sentai Goseiger
Tensou Sentai Goseiger (天装戦隊ゴセイジャー) is the 34th Super Sentai series from Toei, it airs in 2010 on Sundays on TV Asahi.
Story
Millions of years ago, there was a secret race of humans called the Gosei Angels who lived on earth. Eventually they left the earth to allow other creatures to dominate it, but have kept a watchful eye on their ancient home ever since. Five young trainee angels have been stuck on earth after the Heaven's Tower, the link between Gosei World and earth, is destroyed by a group of aliens called the War Star. Now it's up to the remaining angels on earth to protect it from the War Star as the Tensou Sentai Goseiger. The Gosei Angels are split into three tribes, Skyick, Seaick, and Landick, and at teams their vastly different personalities will clash.
Characters
Goseiger
Each Goseiger is a member of a specific tribe and has a color that they primarily wear, to serve as their mechs, they use weapons called the Gosei Headders. The Gosei Headders are giant mechanical heads that take form of various human craft with an animalistic tint.
Arata / GoseiRed (1) - The main character of the series, an aloof young man who tries his hardest at any task given to him and his always earnest in his attempts to help his friends and those in need. Upon his arrival to earth, he forms a rivalry with Dereputa, a member of the War Star who left him with a terrible scar on his arm. He and Eri are members of the Skyick tribe.
Eri / GoseiPink (1) - She is the other half of the Skyick tribe within the Goseiger team and Arata's girlfriend. Eri is an optimistic and maternal figure who can often figure out problems to situations in no time
Aguri / GoseiBlack (1) - The strongest of the Goseiger and the older brother to Moune. Aguri usually has an apathetic attitude towards many things he sees as trivial and will often butt heads with Arata over what they see as important to their mission on earth. Despite being told to protect humans, he has a hard time understand why they are important.
Moune / GoseiYellow (1) - Aguri's younger sister and the second half of the Landick tribe within the Goseiger. Moune is the youngest member of the Goseiger and the most straightforward, not bound by social standards or fears, she often says what she wants and does whatever it takes to get it.
Hyde / GoseiBlue (1) - Hyde is the oldest member of the Goseiger and the single member of hte Seaick tribe within the team. He often serves as the most level-headed member with a cool personality, though not one of stone as he is shown to value human life above the return to Gosei World and will do whatever it takes to comfort those in danger.
Magis / GoseiGreen (10) - Magis was the sixth member of the Goseiger team and the second half of the Seakick tribe within the team. He was outwardly happy and cheery, often being the only person who could get Hyde to smile or laugh. Before the start of the series, Magis was killed by a member of the War Star as he tried to save Hyde.
War Star
Great King Mons Drake - The leader of the War Star. Mons Drake is modeled after a moth and has a brilliant mind when it comes to destroying his foes. He realized the Gosei Angels would cause his army trouble and called for an attack on the Heaven's Tower before the initial invasion.
Dereputa of the Meteor (1-12) - A mantis based warrior who is the field commander of War Star. Despite his terrible attitude, he actually follows a warrior's code of conduct and let GoseiRed go in battle several times when realizing the hinderance of his scar.
Bladerun of the Comet - A treehopper based member of War Star who serves as their strategist and one of the top scientific commanders of the army. He found a race called the BiBi and captured them to serve as the War Star grunts as well as using their power to make monsters grow giant.
