Information

"the Fourth Avenue Café" was set to be L'Arc~en~Ciel's seventh single in March 26th, 1997 but was canceled due to sakura's drug incident. It was a re-cut single from the band's 1996 album True, and was used as the ending theme song for the anime Rurouni Kenshin. It was released in 2006 as part of a re-issue campaign of the band's first fifteen singles in the 12cm format. The coupling tracks are by D'Ark~en~Ciel, an alter-ego of L'Arc~en~Ciel when sakura was still present. It reached #5 on the weekly Oricon charts and charted for nine weeks, selling 49,916 copies.
