THE SYMBOL was SHANADOO's second album released in Germany. This album was never released in Japan, although SHANADOO have performed many of the songs that appear on this album at various live events.

THE SYMBOL was release on DECEMBER 07, 2007, aproximately 1 years after SHANADOO's debut album in 2006, under the record label, ICEZONE MUSIC. This album was also majorly filled with covers of European dance songs. Originally, this album was listed to be named "THE OMEN" with it's first track (and accompanying single also released on the same day THINK ABOUT being called THINK ABOUT THE OMEN)
