The song reached #1 within a few of days in almost all the online music stores when it was made avalable to be purchased online prior to [[Ultra Blue|ULTRA BLUE]]'s release. Utada herself is quoted to have said that this song is about expressing that "Love is like a mix of extremes; anxiety and peace."
