"Tsubomi" is Kobukuro's 14th single. The title track was used as the theme song for the dorama Tokyo Tower Okan to Boku to, Tokidoki, Oton. In December 30, 2007 Kobukuro won the Grand Prix award at the 49th Japan Record Awards with this song. It reached #1 on the Oricon charts, charted for 71 weeks, and sold 441,799 copies in 2007, becoming the #3 single of the year. Eventually it sold 506,093 copies.
