History
Umeda Erika is the oldest Hello! Project Kids member. She was a part of the first Kids-featured unit ZYX and was also a back-up dancer in performances of Fujimoto Miki's "Boogie Train '03." She is now a member of °C-ute.
She was also a member of Mix Gatas until she was added to Gatas Brilhantes H.P. in April, 2007.
On August 1, 2009, it was announced that she would be graduating from °C-ute and Hello! Project at the end of their current tour on October 25, 2009. She's now signed to model agency ILLUME, which isn't one of the major model agencies in Japan, but their models appear often on popular fashion magazines.
