When creating pages, please follow the template style and do not change the words. Meaning that these words should be used:

Tracklist

(Second line break before the Information paragraph.)

For Song Information:

Other Information
Arrangement: (And pretty much everything not credited to Lyrics or Music.)
Oricon Chart Positions

(And if possible, do not put a line break when starting a new section.)

Yes, I attempted a new format when I was changing the H!P pages, and that format is what you are using, right? Please follow the said changes above, as I am also changing the pages to match. Thank you. Mierna 01:18, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

Image categories

Hello there. I just wanted to let you know that we do have categories that should be used when uploading images. When uploading album art, depending on the format you use either Category:Record Cover or Category:CD Cover and on depending on the release you'd use Category:Album Cover, Category:Mini-Album Cover, or Category:Single Cover. Also when uploading promotional images we have the Category:Promo Images. Keep up the good work! ~ Themonkeyofdoom 22:08, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

Formatting Titles

Hey just thought I should let you know that songs (and other shorter works like singles) are referred to in quotation marks, and albums (and longer works like TV shows and dramas and movies) are referred to in italics. It was recently decided and Themonkeyofdoom is working on a style page, but just letting you know before hand since you're such a big contributor. Oh and we also do not bold the title in the first Information line (although Wikipedia does, but even when it does it is still italicized or quoted). Thanks! Lvng 21:36, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

As Lvng said, please use quotation marks when refering to shorter works such as singles and songs, and use italics for longer works such as albums and DVDs. Also on the song pages, we don't do an "Information" heading because right above it there is another heading listed as "Additional Information" (here are some examples of how it should look). ~ Themonkeyofdoom 21:05, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
Also when refering to an artist, do so by their family name instead of their given name (such as: features Matsuura in kimono, instead of Ayaka in a kimono.) ~ Themonkeyofdoom 22:25, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Song pages for non-single tracks do not receive the J-Pop (releases) category. ~ Themonkeyofdoom 22:37, 22 March 2010 (UTC)

wondering

i supply info to helloproject.wikia.com. ur page on H!P have tons of info. is it ok if i copy the page on to the site but i put "this page belongs to wiki.jpopstop.com" on it? if not i will delete the pages immediately

The wiki's Creative Commons license says you can copy the pages as long as you attribute the source of the information as this wiki. On a personal note, I don't understand the point of having a separate wiki if all you are going to do is copy all your information from another wiki, but that's none of my business. I think Zoumusume summed it up best. As the owner of this wiki, I can say that the license here allows you to copy so long as you attribute (link back) to us. Still (as Zoumusume said), it doesn't make too much sense to have a separate wiki (unless you all plan to offer something different like sound clips or things we just don't cover here). --EXodius 16:25, 14 May 2010 (CDT)
I would like to add that one thing is to copy/get the information, and another to copy the pages. I've seen our Menus copied as plain text, same with internal links (like B-sides or album songs) which appear underlined but without the link on Wikia. I can get the copy-paste for tracklist and so, but I find really regrettable to just select a full page, copy it, and paste it on your Wiki. I think it is fair for the the original contributors, that you make a little more effort, even if compared it's only a tiny part of what they did. --Pizca 18:47, 14 May 2010 (CDT)
